BALBACUA is a beef stew dish. It is made with beef skin, oxtail, and some spices cooked for several hours or till tender. This dish is originated from Visayan Regions of the Visayas and Mindanao islands, each province has its own twist in cooking this dish. It is typically served with white rice, misua or miki noodles. Ingredients: 300g beef skin (pre-cooked) 650g oxtail 2 inches ginger 5 cloves of garlic 2 pcs medium-sized red onions 1/2 tsp of ground pepper 7 cups of water 2 tsp of coarse salt 2 stalks of lemongrass 175g pork & beans 2 tbsp of black beans of tausi 250g of tomato sauce 2 pcs red bell peppers 150ml of soda or sprite 2 pcs of red chilis (chopped) 2 stalks of spring onions Enjoy watching & happy cooking!
