Chlorine and fluoride free shower water

I kept on buying several filters trying to remove chlorine and fluoride from shower water, so that it doesn’t affect my skin or hair when I shower. And then I bought some tests to figure out which filter is doing it’s job. I was surprised to realize tap water doesn’t have any chlorine or fluoride. So, before spending a fortune on filters, it’s better to test tap water for chlorine and fluoride first.
