Recovery effort underway after military helicopter crash in Whitsundays

A military helicopter involved in a crash off Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, which may have claimed the lives of four people onboard, was due to be retired. When it ditched into the water, the Australian army helicopter was engaging in a two-chopper mission as part of Operation Talisman Sabre exercises in Queensland. A recovery effort is underway after the initial search was hampered b poor weather.
