Headlights: Pilot Episode

Finally done! After 18 long months, the episode is complete! I'm so excited to be releasing this, even despite its obvious imperfections. I think you can really see the development of my style as you go through each scene. In the earlier scenes, the lineart wasn't as clean and the characters were less consistent in shape in size. You might also notice that as the episode goes on that frames became more "dynamic," as in I broke away from single character headshots and tried to add more movement. (Which I say loosely since this is an animatic and not fully animated). I'm not sure people will pick up on it but I wanted to say this now just in case. In the intro, it is blatantly clear that PetPyves voices in Headlights, however, she only plays an extra in this episode. Putting her name in the spotlight wasn't a mistake, nor an attempt to grab attention. The reason she gets a frame of her own is that she voices an important character in the series that doesn't appear until a couple episodes in. ALRIGHTY, that's about it from now. As for the next episode, the script has already been sent out and I've collected most of the audio takes. With that said, I will be taking a break from Headlights as this past year has been entirely dedicated to only Headlights. I want to take on some MAP parts, create more videos for my channel, and most importantly, focus on my portfolio as I'm starting to apply to colleges. On the bright side, I will be releasing the Headlights Discord Server very soon so you can see snippets of went on behind the scenes and also track the progress of future episodes.
