@drosera887 months ago This is so amazingly perfect. Idiot humiliates himself by getting pissed at someone following the rules when he wasn't and trying to start a fight, gets immediately shut down by a cop and school official, and then as icing on the cake he leaves his car in drive and now has to pay for damage to his car and property. Absolutely beautiful. ... 22
  • @
@Greydawg7 months ago Cammer slams on her brakes to brake-check the yellow car behind her, increasing speed to 42 MPH then quickly down to 32 MPH & again back up to nearly 50 MPH to cause this completely preventable wreck (but the caption says "this is what happens when you think you're the only driver on the road?).
In many states this is treated as assault with a deadly weapon. Thankfully this wasn't 2nd-degree manslaughter or we'd never have seen the video here by nature, but still, YIKES Carolyn.
Glad no unrelated, innocent kids were hurt or killed from this rage response, too (&I fully admit that's personal). 💯

@allen2zulu7 months ago yes... because the black truck had the right of way (going straight) 33

@yungkidnf7 months ago so you brake check, and then PIT the yellow car for what reason exactly? Omitted footage is present. Also, who exactly is acting like they are the only ones on the road??? ... 45
  • @
@dashcamandy22427 months ago Congratulations Karen Carolyn, you've learned both how to brake-check, and how to PIT someone. But I guess that's "what happens when you believe you're the only one driving on the road." 12
  • @
@aiman93657 months ago No. You knew someone is behind you because you BRAKE CHECKED THEM. 20

@christinecampbell73017 months ago #13, without a dash cam I bet the white car would say the semj randomly rearended him when in fact he is responsible for a four vehicle accident. 35
  • @
@crossplainschic7 months ago I'd like to see the proceeding 30 seconds.
    - cammer brake-checks someone
    - yellow car (likely the person that was brake-checked) gets mad and cuts them off and hits the brakes simultaneously
    - cammer accelerates to over 50 mph, and made a small fender-bender into a more dangerous situation
    - cammer then appears to partially block an active lane instead of using the large shoulder
They should each have to pay to fix their own cars.... cammer blatantly accelerating put them at fault to, IMO

Brake check, then a deliberate 'pit' maneuver.

  • @
@lerkzor7 months ago Last clip: Yeah, you BOTH had a Stop sign. Even if you were there first, once you are both waiting for traffic to clear, the vehicle going straight has right-of-way before the vehicle turning left. Just be patient, and you are more likely to get to your destination without damaging your car. ... 50

@morskojvolk7 months ago The guy opposite had the right of way, doesn't matter who got to the stop first at a two way, people going straight or turning right have the right-of-way. ... 9

@kristopherrobinson3167 months ago @ neither of them were in the intersection. They both ran the red light. I’d be surprised if they both weren’t equally put at fault. 19
  • @
@samkdaily30557 months ago () In most states, 2 way stops are not treated the same as a 4 way stop (go in order of arrival). In most states, you follow the rules of right of way. Since that vehicle was going straight, he had right of way. Since you were left turning, you had lowest priority movement and should have yielded. ... 5

@xtye63497 months ago Whats with the brake check? 9
  • @
@solandri697 months ago First clip You're in a semi, following less than 1 second behind the semi in front of you. You were incredibly lucky you were able to stop in time without colliding. The video is a good example of how even if you slam on the brakes the moment you see the vehicle in front slowing down, the fact that your slowing is delayed by a split second from theirs means your speed is always greater than the vehicle in front. Meaning you'll get closer and closer to the vehicle in front. Which is why you need to keep 2-3 seconds distance. The only thing that saved cammer here is that the semi in front appears to have eased off the brakes near the end. ... 21

@Patrick-it8nk7 months ago I had a similar situation happen on a road when I lived on the Space Coast area of Florida. Was nighttime on a highway that had NO streetlights, and was foggy, so I was driving under the speed limit. Farmer had left his gate open and his cows wandered into the road, where I hit three. Two of them needed to be put down, and somehow the farmer wasn't liable for any of it (as far as I know). Been years, so admittedly the details are foggier than that night lol. ... 4

@bigbill24447 months ago #14 - I'd be glad I wasn't that flatbed driver; this is an good example of what happens when something goes wrong (no matter whose fault) and you're tailgating.
Luckily, it looks like there was no damage done (except a few flat spots). But that's just what it was: luck.

  • @
@Greydawg7 months ago Clip 6 @ "Not sure what was happening here," except just watching the video we can see for ourselves an oncoming car turned left in front of the traffic that had to quickly slow to avoid an accident & both drivers behind them were following too closely while driving nearly 20% over the speed limit & braking too late to safely slow down & make it not look so dangerously close is all. All we can do is prepare our best to drive as defensively as we can. It may have been close, but great job (&thankful) to avoid a wreck here outright by all drivers from the left-turning driver that seemingly started this result. ... 8

@chappy487 months ago blames the yellow car, but brake checked them then sped up to pit them, causing them to spin out. How many other people did they put at risk over that little maneuver? ...
  • @
@baddriversofvancouverbc6 months ago HALF those videos wouldn't exist if the cammers would just be a little bit more courteous. @ThePandaCam5557 months ago #14 holy crap, why on earth would they do that?? There wasn't any traffic ahead of them to warrant this brutal stop! Did they just assume no traffic was behind them OR even in the right lane for this person to execute a safe turn? smh.. why????? ...
  • @
@ovidiuciuparu64217 months ago I’m curious how that made it your turn? I hope you understand is 100% your fault…and he had the right of way since he was going straight! This is NOT a 4 way stop! ... 2

I have to wonder what that driver's life is like.
  • @
@sambrannan75507 months ago Mr. Nice Guy strikes again. Stopping to yield to someone who does not have the right of way with no regard for the cars behind them. 1
  • @
@bigbill24447 months ago - Maintaining a safe distance had nothing to do with this accident at all. It's a simple case of a driver not paying attention to what they're doing. I do not believe that driver intended to change lanes, but was doing something other than watching the road. There is simply no way a driver watching the road could possibly miss seeing that semi. ... 1
  • @
@tudorjason7 months ago - He was not brake-checking!
He was trying to keep the truck under control after changing lanes and from rear-ending the SUV ahead.
Look right here! The SUV is on a few feet from the truck.
Sorry, cammer and everyone else! There is a difference between brake-checking and maintaining control!

  • @
@chappy487 months ago You knew it would happen, but did nothing to decrease the risk and stayed in your middle lane. It would have been the other car's fault in the event of a collision, but defensive driving saves lives...even if your passenger has 8 to spare. ...

@Tr2u1ck7 months ago 22 - knew this interchange was gonna eventually pop up on a compilation, but surprised it’s not involving a semi trying to get to the truckstop. A traffic signal is badly needed here. This guy, on the other hand, could’ve been courteous and either reduce speed or move to the next lane over, if unoccupied.

They should have waited for cammer tho since cammer has the ROW. And it's sad that they have to paint lines on the ground to indicate a stop sign is there when it's visible. Both of them should be found at fault, neither one was in the intersection, both blatantly ran the red light. Even then, stop hanging out in intersections if it isn't clear to go! Yellow means STOP IF SAFE TO DO SO, not "hurry up and get past the line so you can technically be in the intersection before the light is red so that you can 'clear the intersection' after the red".
Just stop doing that. Don't even enter unless it's green AND you have a clear chance to go.
