Good from a far, but FAR from good.. This $325k GTR is SEMA's most confused build.

From a distance, we were keen to get a closer look at what looked like an incredibly crafted R35 GTR, complete with a twin turbo V8 fed by 8x throttle bodies, massive carbon ceramic brakes, a wild wide body kit and a beautiful bright red paint job. As we got close enough to see the details, we were sorely disappointed, mostly because this car actually had a lot of potential to be very cool, but it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense as a finished package. It has: The aero of a show car (mostly non functional) The power of a drag car The engine of an Indy Lights car The driveline of a drift car (RWD) The brakes of a time-attack circuit car ...? This car can't decide what it wants to be, not to mention: An interior assembled by a school kid Radiator ducting that goes nowhere Mirrors made from left over security cameras And the head unit from a $10 eBay auction.. Yes there are some very quality parts in the build, but there are also some atrocious combinations that make absolutely no sense! We have never "picked" on a build before, and we DO respect people's choice in how they style their build, however there were so many things wrong with this vehicle that it almost was embarrassing to have on display. The interior parts looked like they had been formed in a paper moulding, the exterior looked ok from a distance, but up close had terrible flaws that would have had an extremely negative effect on any aero or downforce. We understand this may be an unfinished project build, however this was showcasing a company's best work, which we later found is actually trying to push sales for a whopping $325,000 USD!?
