Bride Sits On Moving Car Bonnet, Gets Booked For Rash Driving, Covid-19 Violations; Video Goes Viral

The police have booked a 23-year-old bride and also her relatives after a video in which she is seen posing on the bonnet of a moving car, went crazy viral on social media. The bride and her relatives were booked for alleged rash driving and also violation of Covid-19 safety norms. The video was shot on July 13 morning before the wedding took place, reported The Indian Express. An FIR in the matter was registered at the Loni Kalbhor police station later in the afternoon. Police have booked the woman, a relative who was driving the SUV, another person who was filming her while riding on a bike & also some others who were travelling in the car. In the video, the young woman, wearing bridal dress, was seen sitting on the bonnet of a moving car while a person on a bike was filming her. Officials told The Indian Express that legal provisions invoked in the offence were bailable. Those booked were not placed under arrest.
