Dum Ka Roat is a very famous dessert prepared in all parts of the country, It is a very rich sweet dish filled with dry fruits.
Ingredients :
400 Grams Milk Khowa
350 Grams Sugar
4 Eggs
50 Grams Sooji
Raisins (Kishmish)
50 Grams Almonds (Badam)
250 Grams Ghee
Zaffran (Kesar)
Food Colour
Method :
Soak the sooji in water
Take a bowl and break eggs into it and mix thoroughly
Add sugar and mix thoroughly
Add khowa
Add zaffron (kesar)
Add ghee
Mix is thoroughly using electric beater or mixer grinder
After mixing, add sooji
Add mix thoroughly
Add little food colour
Cut the badam or other nuts as per wish
Keep a vessel on gas flame and add the mixture to the vessel
Keep stirring for 15 minutes
Add some cut badam
Add kishmish
Keep stirring for another 10 minutes
Close it with a lid and keep for 5 minutes
And in just 25-30 minutes, DUM KA ROAT Is Ready To EAT!!!
